EuroVelo 6: The Danube Experience EuroVelo 6 in Romania is more than just a cycling route – it offers the opportunity to discover some of the most impressive natural and cultural treasures of the country. Along the 1,075-kilometer stretch of the Danube that flows through Romania, there are remarkable habitats reminiscent of those in the Danube Delta. This region is known for its exceptional biodiversity and the rich cultural heritage of the people living in close connection with the river. Our NGO is actively working in the Constanța region to further develop this stretch, aiming to complete the connection to Tulcea and the Danube Delta. These efforts are partly funded by the Interreg project and sponsors, with a focus on expanding the route for sustainable tourism.
